I think the RMZ would be a good fit for you, good handling, good suspension and EFI. It may not be as nimble as the 250 but no 4stroke is "nimble". I believe Suzuki had problems with the 09 missing the debut with crank cases that were cracking because of weak castings and a lack of structural webbing (google this) otherwise if it looks clean and well maintained it might be worth a look, if it's hammered or looks neglected walk away.

The best part of the deal is that there will be locals who can show us the area and we don't have to pay full price for tours.

Now while this guy could potentially be jack-ass, every time I have talked to him on the phone he has seemed real down to earth and reasonable. It seems to me that he is trying to get a motorcycle meeting in the Moab area. He states there are group rides/drives for mountain bikes, road bikes, trucks, and jeeps, he is looking to get something together for the two wheelers.

I ran into him a 4-5 years ago riding mountain bikes in Fruita. Pretty sure he is a genuinely nice guy, he was wiling to chat about his bikes and tours and such which is probably one of the contributing reasons to me buying my first bike a few months later.

We're going to run up by Knickerbocker, Hart Canyon and up Arkansas loop to Colorado.

Trying to show Emily a new area.
