(97-65) This is what baseball is all about. What a finish! The last game of the regular season comes down to one run victory by Tampa Bay and the Orioles. Buck loves being spoiler especially against his old nemesis. It's time to regroup and put the Tigers back in their cage.

If Sabathia loses you've got a rookie up for game 2.

Not saying that he wont do well since he's had a spectacular rookie season but
he's still a rookie.

A lot of pressure on him if he needs to hold par to tie the series.

In a strange twist of fate, Game 1 is suspended and will resume with Game 2 starters. An interesting scenario. Rain is again in the forecast for the Bronx today.

This should be interesting. I would throw Sabathia back out there. Worse case scenario he loses and he's available again for game 5 if needed. You throw him out there in game 3 and that's it.

We had that game. I'm not gonna complain about the questionable calls in the first couple of innings to not sound like a whiner but it was a little frustrating.

Hats off to the Tigers on a great game. C'mon AJ. Let's bring this back to the Bronx!

About the tightest strike zone I've seen in a looooong time. Bit Justin late in the game as well.

I didn't realize how fluffy CC has gotten.

Shades of 2006; a must win scenario, but now on the arm of the most mercurial pitcher in the Bronx. Hats off to Justin Verlander and the Tigers on a great win in Motor City.

Tough loss! When you put up 4 against Verlander, you got to find a way to win that game.

CC was just off his game and the umps stingy strike zone did not help. But, only one of the Tigers batters that Sabathia walked actual came around to score.

And please get that blue pitch box off my freaking TV screen, it's useless and broken!

It comes down to tonight. AJ can make things right with a solid performance and its about time for the big bats to finally show up!

Hats off to Posada! for his solid hitting and great AB's in this series.

We win tonight and we will take this series! Lets go Yankees!

Burnett vs. Porcello should be an entertaining matchup: Burnett can be wild, inconsistant yet dominate at times; Porcello will be pitching his 1st playoff game ever, yet at home vs. the Yankees he has won both times.

If Rodriquez & Teixeira continue to struggle with the bat it will be tuff for the Yankees - regardless should be another Great game tonight & the weather forecast looks perfect for baseball
