Seriously of all of the teams left I would like to see them versus Detroit and for the D-backs to win the series. Though i do not see it happening
I wanted a rematch. I'm still a Yankee fan first and foremost. Believe me, it's tough to watch the Gonzo hit over and over and over again every time I go to a game. But throughout the past 3 years I've really taken a liking to the way the D-Backs handle things. This team in particular is special. I really hope they do well.

Nice!

My boss just sent an email to the team:

Quote:
In honor of the long weekend, and the Diamondbacks deciding game5 starting at 2pm, please make sure everyone is on their way home by 1pm.

Also, if someone can help escort out the crying yankee fan on the way, that would be great.

have a good weekend,

LMAO sounds like a good work environment. One of my co-workers wore a Mets jersey today just to remind us that we can all play golf together now.

Absolutely. That loss really stung cause I felt the Dbacks really were the better team. If Colmenter and Kennedy continue to grow they can be two dominant aces at the top of the order. It's a young team and Gibson has them believing in themselves. hopefully the front office makes it happen and acquires some help in the off season to continue success.

nice rotation upgrade today.

montero and noesi to seattle for pineda and campos. good trade for both teams, though i hate to see montero go with the way he rakes.

and kuroda picked up on the same day.

Thank you for your service

Jorge Posada: 17 seasons in pinstripes, .273 batting average, 275 home runs, 5 time All-Star, 1,065 RBI's, and 5 World Championships.
All the best to you in the future.

2 of 3 from Philly in pre-season looks promising. Just getting the kinks out. Gotta decide on the 5-man rotation now. Everybody is healthy so far.................let's keep it that way.

As bad as Burnett was last year, I hope he heals well from his surgery. Just a freak accident.

+1

The last couple of years for Jorge were tough to watch.

(0-1) Not a good Opening Day. Mo could not hold a 6-5 lead in the bottom of the ninth. Some interesting managerial decisions on both sides of the fence. Good Yankee defense for the first game, but they fell short with regard to pitching.
Welcome to Raul Ibanez with 4 RBI's, but Pena was the MVP today.
