(0-2) Too little too late.
A bad debut for Kuroda.
19 runners LOB in two games.
Nice effort from Swisher to make the score respectable.

(1-3) Seven frames from Nova, Jeter 4 for 4, but another 10 LOB. A little juggling in the lineup was a good move.

Ugh, no. The lineups have been horrendous, along with in game decisions, which is a big part of the problem.

(2-3) A come from behind win. Now on a streak of two. Garcia struggled(5 wild pitches), but Ibanez comes through in the clutch with a two out RBI. Another 12 LOB and 2 for 18 with RISP?

(3-3) A sweep of the "O's". It was an extra inning fight, but Swisher comes through in the 10th. 7 LOB in 10 frames is an improvement. Off today and then the home opener with the Angels.

(4-3) Shut out at the Home Opener. A nice tribute to Posada. Only 5 LOB this trip. Good performance by Swisher with Homers from Granderson and A-Rod..............still waiting for Teixiera to find his swing. Kuroda with 8 frames of the shutout and Robertson to close.

(5-4) 2 of 3 from the Angels during the home stand. Ibanez with 3 RBI's and Nova now with 2 wins. Twins are in town tonight at 7:05pm.

(5-5) Back to .500. Garcia struggling, but no run support. LOB is down.

Garcia is looking like the odd man out when pineda / pettite returns.

Nova is looking like the real deal - maybe a number 2 type ceiling?

Phelps looks great as well- hope Girardi continues to get him innings, but wouldn't be surprised if he ended up a 1 inning guy (because that's what girardi does) ; Hughes needs to get it together otherwise he's in the pen / trade bait.

Good assessment. Girardi seems to be well versed in the mix and match of position players and batting order. The old guys and lackluster performers are getting days off early on........nothing is set in stone.

(6-5) CC gets his first win of 2012, but double digits again with runners LOB.

(6-6) Back to .500. Kuroda now (1-2) and got shelled in the first inning. Swisher with 13 RBI's. Jeter is hot at the plate, but one man cannot save the team. Hughes tonight, looking for his first win of the season. Gardner on the DL.

(7-6) evens up the Twins series at 2 games a piece. Hughes hangs on to get his first win and Granderson with three homers last night. Jeter ties Winfield for number of hits all-time. Hopefully we are ready for the Boston series and Fenway Parks 100th anniversary.

(8-6) Five homers put a damper on the 100th anniversary of Fenway Park. A really nice celebration with appearnaces by former players and Terry Francona.

That was one hell of a comeback today.

Boston and Bobby V look done already.
