(9-6) I'm speechless.
I remember my Dad telling me that the beauty of Baseball is that anything can happen and there is no time limit. It's not like a movie where if the film is terrible for the first 30 minutes, it will not get any better. What a recovery! |

(10-6) Texas falls. CC fans 8, Jeter on fire, and Swisher with 21 RBI's. The bullpen is set, but the starting rotation has got to be squared away.

(10-7) Close game, but squandered opportunities on both sides. Kuroda goes 6 and 2 thirds, but has no run support( even with bases loaded and no outs). Darvish now 3-0 for Texas..............very impressive. The "rubber game" tonight.

(10-8) Absolutely pitiful pitching from Hughes and Phelps. Bad news about Pineda. Petite threw 5 innings in Trenton. Thank God we have a day off before the Detroit series at home.

(11-8) A wild finish on a passed ball resulting in a win, but it was also a loss due to the passing of Moose Skowron. Girardi ejected for the first time this season and Verlander has yet to win at the new stadium.

(11-9) Great performance by the rookie Smyly. Garcia gives up 6 runs in 1 and 2/3rds innings.

(12-9) CC comes through with a great eight frames of work. Team LOB is back up with 15 runners stranded. Garcia gets moved to the bullpen and Phelps joins the rotation.

(13-9) A pitchers duel for sure. Nice job from Kuroda. Nunez looked good in Left Field. Hughes must come through tomorrow.

I agree about Nunez out there. When Gardner comes back, if they play an outfield of Nunez, Gardner, and Granderson there is so much speed out there nothing will reach the wall. Of course Swisher needs a place once he is healed.

(13-10) Congrats to Buck for his 1,000th major league win. Hughes is still struggling with no run support last night to boot. Nunez had a costly two run error last night in left, but he is still green as an outfielder. Hoping the rubber match goes our way tonight.

Guess I should have kept my mouth shut about Nunez. But like you said he is green and hopefully will grow as he gets some more time out there.

(13-11) A pitiful performance at home as Buck gets 1001. A shutout as the heart of the order continues to struggle at the plate and the starting rotation is questionable. Nova gives up 5 runs with his first loss. Swisher and Gardner are still out. The only thing that is a plus is the defense........the O's left 11 on base last night as a team, but still managed to score five
