(51-34) Great pitching by Masterson for the Tribe. No run support for the return of Phil Hughes. The Rays are in town for a series. I don't get the snub on CC, but then again, I don't see Tex on the roster either.

why's it psychotic? he's having a nice year, but it's not like it's a total snub or anything- wins, by themselves, mean little as to how good the pitcher is (look at felix hernandez's 13-12 record last year for example. he was still a stud.)- it IS a team sport after all; take a look at his other numbers and see if you still think it's psychotic. but beyond the numbers, you do realize it's just a popularity contest, right?

CC is having more then just a "nice year". He is tops in wins, 8th in ERA (2.72 lower than those of Felix Hernandez, David Price, and C.J. Wilson) and 4th in strikeouts in the AL. If he continues and his current pace he will be the AL Cy Young winner.

A large portion of the AS game is from the popular vote of the fans.

But remember there is Player voting (16 players) Eight pitchers (five starters and three relievers) and Manager selection. (9 NL players/8 AL players)

CC was snubbed, no other way of looking at it.
