Never mind, with my required late departure and a 5.5 hour ride not including food/fuel stops... that is a day ride each way. I'm a pussy. Sorry.

Your looking at it the wrong way Larry. It's all riding bikes and camping w/other moto-idiots. The ride up will be fun. By the time we arrive it will be late , but we will have probably ran over enough animals that we will eat good. Then we can drink ourselves silly and burn down the forest all before passing out for the night. Then in the morning we have all day to ride bikes again.
If you go up and see my earlier post you will see that I too was looking at this incorrectly, Then I shook the sand from my vagina and realized that any

"day ride each way" as you stated is what we live to do.

All that said I still might not be able to make it due to other "Life" things getting in the way. But in between things I will pack shit up just in case as to be prepared to leave anytime between 1-4pm from the Crafton/Robinson area.

It's a moving target, but as of now I'm about 60% in.

Jeff, how far are you from me and what is your departure timeline if you end up being able to shake free?

My wife and daughter are going to the kiddy-girly concert in Pittsburgh Saturday and I need to be sure I can find a hole to jam my 2 sons into so I could pull this off.

I'm 21 miles NW of Pittsburgh, in Baden, right on RT 65 North. Also I am under 10 miles from RT 79 North in Cranberry/Mars.

Sorry I won't be there to buy the beer! I haven't heard back from the guy that is hosting the big gun fest we are having on Saturday, so my ass is still firmly atop the proverbial fence right now. Depends on Coles plans.

It's not looking real good for me right now...Sunday is Father's Day and my daughter wants to spend time together. She's not an early riser so it may still work out. If I'm coming it won't be til tomorrow evening.

Got that right, and looking forward to meeting yous guys and doing some riding. Even looking forward to my 5.5 hr ride from CT, after (hopefully) leaving work at about 2pm tomorrow. And it looks like I'm heading smack into the rains that are heading westward from PA.
Butt hay, what the hell does ADVrider mean anyways?

I've also got a yearning for some Yuengling, especially since it's not available here in the Nutmeg State.

Unfortunately I won't be able to hang out and ride around on Sunday, since I've got, as they say, a days ride ahead of me.
