I used to work in Coudersport in the mid 90's as a network consultant for Adelphia. Some of my coworkers stayed here. It sounded like it was a party spot. I used to just commute to my RV which was parked over in Cross fork PA.
Now they are advertising for ATV riders. I think it sits right on the edge of Susquehannock State Forest. I also think they have opened a lot of the stone roads to ATV's in that area. Not sure but you might be able to ride from the lodge to the trail head?

The owner of Adelphia was from that town right? Can't remember that guys name. He was in the news alot back in the 90's

There's a campground right across the street. Stayed there a few years ago it was filled with ATV riders(atv trail accessible from the campground) there wasn't 1 campsite to be had.

Like Eddie said, Post up here closer to the time you'll be coming through and we'll tailor a route for you depending on what kinda roads you like and the allotted time you'll have.

These are the reasons I avoid most of rt 6. Way overrated in my opinion.
