Pilot Road and Pilot Power- single compound
Pilot Road 2 and Pilot Power 2CT- dual compound that Michelin nicknamed 2CT that stands for 2 Compound Technology Pilot Road 3 is still 2CT...the 3 stands for 3rd generation of the Pilot Road lineup, not 3 compounds

I'm on my 3rd set of Pilot Road 2's. Very happy with them. Long wear and good handling.

I'm still waiting for a some proper reviews of the PR3's, as of right now it's between those and Pirelli Angels for me on my Street Triple. I do a lot of touring and commuting on this bike and need one that wears well on the center strip. Been running a Dunlop Roadsmart rear and have about 7k on it so far. Hope to get another 2-3 out of it too.

My main gripe with the PR3 is the appearance.
Yes I know it's really stupid but I like my tires to have attractive tread patterns. The PR3 looks like somebody slashed it up with a weed-whacker.

And thusly, it is supposed to work well in the rain, taking its cues no doubt, from race rains.

Left always wears faster, corners are longer, sight lines are better, so more speed on the way through. The RH side does not have as much as it looks, would hardly register on a depth gauge. |

So who's got 'em in stock? I can't seem to find 'em decently priced and ready to ship. My dealer doesn't do tires.
