Almost back together...hopefully ready to go tonight for a shakedown run. If all checks out, I may be able to get out Saturday.

If Kenora falls through, I'll meet you. Post a time/location to meet.
You are getting paid to go motorcycling? For two days? I am in the wrong trade for sure! Course there was the time a customer made me take his Ultra Glide for a spin on the clock. Or the time I filled the saddlebags with fire caulk, rode to grand marais, caulked for an hour or two, and rode home for 8 hours pay! Man, if I guy could only make a full time living riding! I will post something later in the week when I see what the weather is going to do. Let me know what weekend you wanted to do the grade, wanless road, etc.

Woo-hoo! My bike moves under it's own power with all six gears functional!

I took it out for an abbreviated shakedown tonight. So far, so good. I'll give everything a once over tomorrow night before I deem it totally good to go for the season.

I'm in now, the trip to Kenora is on hold.

Lutz, you going? Should we meet in Lutsen and ride down together?

Arrowheadrider: When/where do we meet? Two Harbors maybe, like Judy's or Betty's?? Looks like you're the tour guide so you get to decide on meet time/location.

Yep, I'm in for Saturday.

MikeS - Lutsen would be a fair bit out of the way for me this trip...as I reside in Two Harbors, I only work in Schroeder...and I hope not to be at work on Saturday.

arrowhead rider - along with meeting time/place, any idea on distance between gas stops? Will we even hit one? My tank capacity is really sucky - only about 100 road miles before it's bone dry. I'll likely carry an extra gallon on the back as insurance.

OK Lutz, so now I get it. Being an old fart, I have dementia...... or at least it's a good excuse, whether true or not. Your "Lutz" name caught me with the wrong association.

So now you guys can get back at me and say, "Let's meet for breakfast at 7AM..." Even if you do say exactly that, for spite, I will be there whenever you say, Cook County time of course.

Saturday

Hey guys. The route I was thinking of taking is straight north of my house. How about if I pm directions to my house and we take off from here. I could have some coffee ready. The route I was thinking would lead up to where Mike and I rode some weeks back. There are lots of trails and roads in that area. Nearby is food and gas so that shouldn't be a problem. Mike why dont you pick the time since you are the furthest away.
