+1 Just bought one of these from Jason at MX1West myself. Super easy install and he will get it right out to you.

Has anyone come up with a fender brace for the front fender? Mine flops around all over the place. I tried searching online but could not find anything other than an adapter to mount a newer fender on the bike.

Now that I found out what the connectors are called, I am sure I will be able to locate a easier and cheaper place to get the pins like Mouser.com . I just have to take the time.

Here is a link for a local to a Bellevue WA store that sells the molex plugs, pins and crimper on the cheap.

http://www.vetco.net/catalog/product...oducts_id=9655

Here is another link that has the plug you have pictured for under $2.00 with pins.

Nice. Thanks h2oplayer!

The first link is to connectors for the style used for the headlight connector with the round pins (Molex).

The second link is for a place to get the ones I need (Hitatchi style). They also sell the connectors for the turnsignals too. I ordered the connectors I need from there.

Thanks again!

Check with Pro Carbon in the UK, they probably have one.

You could also fit one of the pre 2007 black plastic braces that bolts to the 2 holes on the top front side of the lower triple, if you drill a hole in the fender.

Thank you for your input. I was considering the older stock one but am not sure if it will clear the bottom of the newer headlight mask. Have you tried this with the newer fender and headlight mask??

Keep the wheels and get super moto wheels. You can get them cheap on Supermotojunkie. I bought a set of Behrs with slicks for $600.

Speaking of Supermoto...

I just ordered a set of Sumo wheels from Jeff Slavens for my 500 and I have a Rekluse auto clutch. Anyone track their bike with the Rekluse? Recommended? Issues?

I sent the Rekluse tech Dept an email but haven't heard back. Some people have reported that their Rekluse equipped bikes slip on the street, but I have never experienced it. I'm wondering if the increased traction of street rubber will adversely affect the clutch.

Fuel Injection/Fuel Economy

I have the same set up with the stock muffler and I just did a 97 mile ride with what looks like about a 1/2 gallon left. No low fuel light. 110 miles is not out of the question based on my riding which consists of multi-surface and 2-track woods roads.

Has anyone read what's changing in the 2014 models? Supposedly they'll be here in another month.
