Paul,

That kind of setup was very popular in Brazil at the Dos Sertoes. I like it a lot. Nice work!

Very nice. I like how easy it is to go from RB set-up to dirtbike set-up.

Will this work w/ a non HDB handguard mount. Say a BRP/Scotts damper mount?

Can you show us a detailed picture of the top mount?

Looks excellent Paul, I like the fact that it's removable so easily. It's a great solution for the masses that don't want a full on "Dakar" set up and prefer to keep things simple. Easy access for repairs in the event of a crash and carrying a spare at a rally would be easy and would take up very little room.

Kick ass

Dan this is the only part that needs to be different the Scott's mounting plate, but for KTM's with this design and all 4 M10 bolts attaching the assembly down, I really don't think I'll be making a lesser version, it's proven to be very solid. I will look at making the Scott's mounting plate for 12mm setups like the CRF, WR's and aftermarket upper triples,

The Scott's mount is adjustable,

It's a variant of this, and will allow for any height risers needed for a comfortable position while standing.

Airstreams have more curves, reminds me more of the VW thing

But yeah, gotta respect the "git r' done" method of fabrication.

Or the slice & dice quality of the fairing.

Scotts is so old school
IMO; Go with the V4 GPR

I have THOUSANDS of miles on both Stablizers and the Scotts is the same TODAY as it was back
in 1997 when Ohlins was the maker
Just a note: GPR has the Patten on the under bar mounting system.
All the guys out there making Under Bar Mounts are in Violation. ( check it out)

I'm pretty old school and I guess I'm just a "if it ain't broke" kind of guy, I've had a Scott's since the early 90's.

Let me know what GPR's patent number is as I'll need to include it as prior art and I didn't see anything that applied.

So what is it you like better about the GPR? Does it feel better/different than the Scott's?
