Yeah, we went! Didn't know if I'd have all the time off til Thursday night. We were heading west near Austin, NV when I got coverage and called work. They gave me another 10 days so we immediately whipped a u-turn and headed to Utah My camera simply could not do the terrain any justice whatsoever. I don't know if any camera could, really; it's just so...vast. And so...so stunning. I'm still overwhelmed. I've ridden my dirt bikes there numerous times but had never gone exploring on a plated bike before. Just...wow...

Congrats to your friend on the 610 purchase I think mine is falling apart after only 15,700 miles...I mean, after 1 hard week of riding in Utah my original clutch cable finally failed Man, I do love that bike something fierce...Eric is totally loving his even more now, too, after the trip. If your friend has any questions or whatever feel free to send him our way, okay?

Say, anyone have a good scooter service shop in the general East Bay? My wife is disgusted with the lousy management at Rockridge TwoWheels, and asked me to check in here. She has a Piaggio LT150, and for some crazy reason, doesn't want me working on her scoot!

California SpeedSports in Livermore is a dealer for Piaggio, Aprilia, & Vespa scooters. Mike does good work in service.

It was totally a last-minute ride, for sure. Eric got a few days notice that he was getting laid off for a few weeks so I spent the next few days scrambling for days off and preparing for a trip that I wasn't sure I was going to get to go on. It all worked out
