Upstate SC ADV Dinner & Ride - Page 4

Hey guys,

I'm in the process of moving from Franklin/Highlands NC to Brevard and starting a new job in Simpsonville on Tues. I don't know whether I'll make the June 1 meet or not but should be able to make the next one.

I ride a 99 KLR650:

I'm in the black jacket helping to perform clutch lever surgery with gorilla tape and zip ties:

I'm looking forward to meeting some new folks in the area. I ride in the national forests up here as often as possible if anyone's interested in a dirt focused dual sport ride.

I know Franklin/Highlands/Nantahala/Sylva fairly well. I'm just starting my search for good dirt near Brevard. In a couple weeks I'll be settled in the new place well enough to get serious about exploring again. Maybe we can meet up for a scouting ride.

Mike I will bring the seat with me. Hopefully you will have a way to get it back home with you if not I can hold onto it longer.

My dinner cost me $100 tonight b/c I had to buy a new car battery. Oh well. There will be plenty more.

How was the food at the Turtle? We should have a meet at the Wild Ace in downtown Greer sometime. I have never been there but hear they have really good pizza and other stuff. Plus if we meet in different places we might find other people around greenville that can't make it to places like Mauldin.

Just a thought.

That used to be the regular meeting spot.

We moved it back to Greenville to better accomodate the Anderson crowd.
