Hi guys, thanks for the interest !
We were planning to run along Green River road, west of 25. There's about 5 miles of hard packed gravel road, pretty flat and twisty running along the river. I ride a Wee-Strom with girlfriend on back - no problems on these roads.
Hope you can all come with us - looking forward to listening to the Duke as it leaves us in the dust.
Just let me know please, so we're not waiting for "no-shows".

When you say Tuxedo Junction, do you mean where the watershed rd meets 25 outside of Hendersonville? If so I should be able to get there by 11:15.

Run up through watershed
Stop at gas station at exit 3 on Hwy 25 in NC at 11:00 - pick up "stragglers"
Head out on Green River road, and up towards Brevard for lunch, then see where we get to.
Almost all paved roads (the twisty type !!) some hard packed gravel on Green River road.
Let me know if you want to join us and we'll wait for you.

Enjoyed the ride Bob!

I think I met up with those chaps that ride out of southern tymes (greer) on Sundays. Pretty quick dudes! Met up with them after you and I split up and I rode up to 178. Came up on me like I was sitting still. I hung with them for a while but then came a few sketchy double yellow passes in the turns that were a little edgy for me...

Great day... nothing beats a day in the saddle!
