Riva 180 in the movies

In Tom Hanks newest film he rides a riva 180 and joins a scooter group.

Some how I don't think this makes scooter riders look cool.

Tom Hanks playing a nerd riding a scooter? Yah, not a great image. On the other hand, he DOES get Julia Roberts......

Doubt this is gonna be a huge blockbuster so hopefully the Riva prices wont spike. Not like you can find them for sale anyway! Actually maybe people will buy them up because of Hanks then realize the carb is an issue then throw on CL for cheap?

If he was riding a Vintage Vespa or a new GTS, it would have seemed stupid.

But a garage sale Riva? I'd go see that.
