Just drag icons over to it, it'll make room

(The menu symbol in the main menu page allows setup of any drawer items, as well.)

And you can hold your finger on any icon for a couple of seconds, then drag it onto the main screen, or off the main screen to the drawer, if you want. This is another way to increase the number of icons to the 4 icon screen.

This drag method is also how the icons can be rearranged on any screen.

Cheeers..
Rebuild your icon cache.

No, trying to change map properties within a shortcut under existing profile. Perhaps this can not be done, but the GUI leads one to believe. I never tried this on an older firmware.

Perhaps it can be done your way, but I think it makes more sense to keep the profiles static, and switch between them to get the configuration I want.

Help with Turkey Maps

Hi all, down here in Turkey and having mostly fun, but be buggered if I can find an address here :(

I am using CN2012.10 and because of all the issues here I read last week I have not bothered to update my Montana 650T so it is using 3.90. I am reluctant to be on the road down here with it stuffed due to bad update.

Anyway, here is the issue, I can pick a city and it will take me there, but I have a specific address in a city and if I try to use that option, it first asks me

1 - Spell state/province - well that is as far as it goes, even when I knew the state I was in, nothing I entered worked, it comes up with an error message "No results found, try adjusting the search parameters"

But, I tried using every letter of the alphabet and it does not KNOW any friggin states, so I cannot progress to the town or street parts. This is so frustrating, should I take this up with Garmin direct or should I take a chance that the new sw may fix it?

Can someone try and see if they can locate the following address please

Veliefendi Mh This is the area
75/2 Sokar, 7-A the first bit is the street, the 7A is the house
ZEYTİNBURNU, Zeytinburnu, Turkey this is the suburb and country

And to aid, these are in DMS N40.59.77.- E28.53.95.

This is the location of the Istanbul Bikers Club, now they have an old street pilot III and it accepts the address in the correct format and is easy to find.

If anyone can help I would appreciate it. I only have a few more days here then I enter Greece, hopefully it will be better there

Cheers
TS

Assuming you are using v3.9x or better(Beta) you should be able to locate this position once you correct the Lat/Lon as it is not in DMS format - no such thing as 77 or 95 seconds.

Aside from the above, the problem with searching in non-english locations - Turkey - is knowing how the streets are labeled within CNEU. Your posted street address is not compatible with CNEU's street labeling.

My experience has been that I give as little info as possible to get a hit - in this case when asked for the City use Zeytinburnu and for the street, just type in 75 and then pick from the Streets presented.

The proper coordinates for that location are: N40 59 52.8 E028 54 04.5
The address as CNEU sees it is: 75-2 Sokak 7, 34025 Zeytinburnu, Istanbul

Good luck and say hello from GlobeRiders.

Cheers,
