Converting DP

DP - I predict that by this time next year you will be a BC / Montana convert and you will never look back.
Put it on your calendar.

I think Garmin doesn't want the Montana to be a "Super Zumo" and cut into the Zumo sales, so they're not going to build all those Zumo features into it. But there's nothing stopping you from navigating to the start point of the route - it's just not a feature built into the Montana. It's probably the same reason the Montana doesn't have Bluetooth.

Hopefully this is the final installment of "As the Montana Crashes"

I now have several rides on and off the interstate at all RPM ranges with......wait for it........................

NO CRASHES!!!!!!!!!!!!! (the Montana not me, I didn't crash either though)

It seems my noise filter has worked!!
I hope this is the last of my troubles.....

For now I'm calling this case closed.
Thanks for all the help and feedback.....

As soon as the person who used to make the Enduro computers (sorry, forgot the name) spoke up about the RFI problem they were having it rang a bell. I recall guys having that problem. I ran ICO computers and they used to have a warning in the direction about the throttle cable running near the ignition coil and RFI problems.

Glad you got it figured out. Maybe email the Garmin Beta team about your fix. At least they should be interested in hearing that this problem could be happening, and your solution. They should add it to the "flash cards" tech support uses.
If it happened to you, I bet there are 100's of others who don't follow this thread with the same problem.
