Not sure on the LC. Looks '90s to me. Came from a web site somewhere. Will look it up.
Found it. http://www.vehiclesforgarminnuvi.com/ Some great vehicles there.

It happened to me also (V4.70) when trying to have the unit follow a route in demo mode, just before I went South for some riding, so I haven't followed up on it.

Maybe it's a geocache location. Davey Jones' Locker.

Creating Adventure
Hello, I wonder if anyone else has a similar issue with there Montana device.
In the manual, it says you can create an adventure by clicking the Draw, then Setup, then Adventures and then Create Adventure. It then says add items and click use. I can't find Adventures under setup, but if I open Adventures application straight from the draw, it says No Results Found. I have no option to create an Adventure on the device. Anyone have the same, or is the manual wrong. Cheers Dave

Thanks Fella, hope you are well.
Good to know the device is normal. I did find adventures in Basecamp and found lots of hiking and mountain biking routes that people had created around the Lake District that look fun. I managed to download them through Basecamp and onto the Montana ok. Some look really fun actually. But when I queried the inability to create them with Garmin support they ended up asking me to send my device to them. But I didn't want to do that if all behave the same. Thanks again. Dave

I just purchased a 600 Montana to replace my old Etrex Legend. I also needed something with a bigger screen.
I was told to get the 600 so you can load your own maps. Way too complicated for me. I'll be taking it back to REI. I'll figure out a way to mount my BMW Motorrad IV to my KTM.

Perhaps you should stick with a paper map.
How did you ever get on the internet?

You guys are awesome!
![]() I guess I should read up a bit more on it. The customization is a bit intimidating to a novice user.
