Trust me, if I could troubleshoot it, I would.

Having problems with the speed of my unit. It will still be saying turn right a minute after I have made a turn and often that causes me to miss the next turn if I am city driving. Seems slow drawing maps also.

I am using City Nav from 2011, will a newer map help? I've done a hard reset.

Do you have multiple maps enabled at the same time? That can slow things down. And if your Map Speed is set to Fast, you may be losing signal. Maybe turn it to Normal, if it's set to Fast.

I normally run multiple mapsets on my Montana.

For example, the 100K topo, some state 24K topo, Baja, and CNNA latest version.

For the 100K Topo profile I disable CNNA in that profile.

For the 24K profile, I disable CNNA and 100K topo.

For Nuvi and CN profiles, I leave everything enabled, as CNNA mapset has a higher priority over the topo mapsets.

Should I disable the topo mapsets within the Nuvi and CN profiles?

Unless you want to use Snooker's trick, I would disable any map which isn't necessary. That's why I have a profile configured for each map. Makes it very easy to switch quickly.

Nope. There is no easy way to enable multiple tracks on the map. There are other alternatives like IMGfromGPX, a Javawa tool which can have a similar effect, though.

Yeah I saw that - I dont want to really have to create and install a map each time I want to simply show a bunch of tracks. I suppose it is worthwhile for more static tracks.

Why don't you just set Show On Map on each of the track you want to be visible on the map?
You can set different colors on them to distinct them from each other.

It becomes a pain to "show on map" for each individual 50 tracks. It would be nice to have a "show all tracks". Even more of a pain when I do this evyer 2nd or 3rd day for many of the areas I go to.

Enabling more than one map at a time slows my 650t. I leave the basemap enabled and one map only on any profile.

Good point - I forgot to mention I also leave the Basemap enabled in all the map profiles. There is a consensus that disabling the Basemap or deleting it from the gps will slow the gps. The Basemap also includes the DEM (Digital Elevation Model) data.

Okay, I'll make changes to the profiles that I use to have the fewest reasonable number of mapsets enabled per profile.

In the case of my 24K topo profile, I'm going to leave all of the 24K maps enabled, as none of them overlap. Make sense?

No problem at all, leaving all the 24k maps enabled.

Have a great ride!
Interesting enough, his non factory installed CNNA shows in Basecamp.

None the less, I did the JavaWa thing on my GPS and it works great. Maps from my GPS are now showing.

Thank You
