Thanks for the kind words, but my rig's a joke compared to yours. Yours is something that nobody else could duplicate. A masterpiece! Mine is just a tug and a tub with jewelry, pretty hair and nice make up.

But since you're dreaming about hacks in the mountains with snow, here ya go--

Howdy,
I have been following your build with great interest....awesome metal fabrication !

Question: What shock absorber - brand, part number, spring rate, size, etc are you using for the leading link ?

I am in process of building my own leading link set up and I need to to get the correct shocks for the project. My bike and sidecar set up, looks to be about the same weight as your rig.

I understand that the shock will be a function of weight of the rig, plus gear plus rider, etc and your weight set up seem very close to my project.

Thanks in advance !

Henry B.

Playing on the FZ1

Hello All:

I thought you might like to see some video of me goofing around with the Yamaha on a dirt road near the house. My sister took the video and due to the heat, limited time and because she is still recuperating from foot surgery all footage was taken in the same corner. Still need to get the front suspension sorted out, a steering damper put on and plan to try a different front tire but I sure am having a blast playing with it. Wasn't exactly sure how to post a video here so you will have to click on the YouTube link below.

Neptune03 that is a beautiful job and oh man do I wish I had a garage set up like you have. Thanks for the great pictures and info.

Drone it is nice to see WUMPA again. She is look as good as ever, even in the snow.

ClearwarterBMW - I saw your rig being built and I am sure you are going to love it. DMC had a R1200GS just like your that I drove down to Oregon and back for some testing. I hated to bring it back as I had got so use to it. Everywhere I went on that bike I got smiles and waves...this was something new to me. You are going to love it.

I have been reading thread after thread about hacks. I must admit that it is a mild sickness at the moment. Of all of them this has to be one of the meanest ,most interesting one yet!! Kudos to you Neptune. The next time I head up to your end of FL you may get a PM offering a free drink (s) in trade for a close up view.

Thanks for sharing.
