What can I say Mark....thanks so much for sharing your journey. You've been the guy on the ground but you've also brought so many others from all around the world closer together with your experiences.

Thanks and safe trip home.....look forward to meeting up some time in the PNW.

Your heading home will have universal consequences, Mark.

Each morning I check my email to see if there's a ride update just like many do across the globe!! Now what are we gonna do?

Thank you so much for your diligence in keeping your ride report up to date. I know it's been tough to do. Each time I read one of your updates. I though that motorcyclists could not have asked for a better ambassador of our sport.

If Di & I are on your route headed north, know that our door is always open for you.

Its the wrong time of year to come back to USA. Wait until spring, then you could do the summer in the USA. I bet you would have no problem finding guides and places to stay with your following

don't stop yet, your only 709 post out of first place

Mark -

Everyone that rides a bike dreams of doing exactly what you are in the midst of, and you were gracious enough to chronicle it in enough detail and with plenty of pics and narrative so that we felt like we were along for the ride with you.

Thank you for everything you have done to keep the fire alive within those of us that have only been able to dream about what you have done...you have certainly fanned the flames to make our dreams a hopeful eventual reality.

Good luck in the next chapter and I look forward to continuing to follow along.

Regards,

Chris

Posted in Facebook already, but now in the real chronicle of record for the ADV community:

Wow, this is bigger news than anything in today's paper! Your trip was an amazing experience for you and those following along. I'm glad I got the chance to meet you in Colombia and am flattered to have been mistaken for you in Central America. I hope that our paths will cross again, Mark. All the best as you begin the next chapter.

A great journey followed and enjoyed.

Mark, thank you for sharing your experience with all of us. It does say to all that anything and any ride is possible if you want it. Thanks again. Look forward to meeting you in the future riding the great Northwest.

Thank you ...

To say "thank you" just doesn't seem to be enough, but it really is all I can offer.

Your trip has provided humor, fascination, riveting interest, and most importantly inspiration to me and I'm sure many, many more.

I wish you continued good luck during your last few weeks in South Africa and then to wherever else the "next chapter" in your travels take you.

Thanks again Radioman ...

We'll have a table, waiting.

When Radioman finally slows down and returns home for a much needed rest, everyone will wonder "what will we do now" Kinda like the crowd following Forest Gump when he said "I think I'll go home now".....
