Good Fortune!

Be safe, have fun, and thank you for sharing.

Can you ID those panniers, and frames to carry 'em? I have an F800 and I am curious about this setup you have.

Mike

Hello Mike,

They are Wolfman tank Panniers (given to me by Earwig Thanks Eric!!)

I cut the straps and mounted them down on my Altrider Engine guards. Had to use some extra webbing, zip ties etc. to make it work. But I can carry my extra front tire tubes, air pump, tire tools, Chain lube, etc.
Should work out great!
If you want more detail shots, I will put them up after I ride to Tucson. See how they work first

Mark

The big ones

Mark:
I'm sorry, I was asking about the big gray luggage units hanging off the back!

Yesterday I took off my rims, and headed over to Eric's to use my tire machine. Put on a set of Heidenau K60 to start the trip.

Got it done. The rear was a real bear to get on the rim. Heavy sidewall. But we got it!

Then a real rush to get the bike loaded up for a trip that will last 1-2 years...... Have extra parts, and the gear I need. Will see how it rides as I slab down to Tucson.

Then I am finishing the extra last of the changes. Added the Rally Moto fix for the upper shock bolt.

Up dated my GPS with South America Maps, Mexico Maps.

Fully Loaded for the morning.

Friends just dropped by, so time to shut down and say goodbye.

Keep that adrenaline in check, you're likely gonna need it down the road

As you have done in the past, one day at a time, enjoy the moment.

You're probably already in the driveway warming the engine, and looking a lot like this:

Bon Voyage.

I'm hoping for 2 years, nothing personal. I'm just figuring that if it lasts the full 2 years, everything went as well as could be expected, and that you didn't run out of money.
