I really dont know the weight limit, but its not very much. I would like to make a trip to the hill country on it sometime. Just need to get some carb issues worked out. Tech day anyone?

I'm still having issues with the fan on the KLR. So, count me in on the tech day.

Sounds like a plan. I was reading how to test the fan switch in my service for the ninja. Im sure the KLR switch is the same.

Hmmm haven't yet figured out how to transport the mini 14 on the KLR.

Even with the folding stock it measures 31". Still too long for the panniers. Ill just have to stick to the XD .40 I guess. I might experiment with my beretta to see if I can use the KLR as the ultimate dove hunting rig. Just need to find a place to hunt and I will be set.

Although in reality I will be saving up for a Concours instead of further farkling the KLR.

I have a friend that has a concours. I think it's an '09 or 10 and it sure is fast! Nice choice... hope you get it soon!

Not sure if I will be getting anything that new...unless I sale the KLR. I will probably be getting an 01-05. Im about a year away though. I have some other things to take care of first, like buying a house.
