The lost hill trail should stay lost to quads and rhinos. Thanks for not posting gps coords or locations. Last time I was out there I ran into a dune-buggy trying drive on singletrack.

FWIW, I just did Flag trails last weekend and they are in great shape. Plenty of different types of s.t. for all levels:

We are probably going up again in the next few months or I could send you guys some directions. (A guide really helps)

Thanks for the great ride report and photos. I always wish the camera could do justice to the difficulty of the trails, but you did a nice job in your descriptions and photo choice. Well done!

The biggest problem I see with that trail is that each and every GD plant is pointy and pokey. It seems no matter where you fall something will prick you.

(But that's all part of the adventure, right?)

Living in the SW Florida region, we dont have the chance to ride the deserts. It looks like a blast! Glad you posted your ride for us stalkers.

Oh man, I am glad that I had to work and was out of town. When you sent me the note to ride I was really itching to get out since it's been a few weeks. Them downhills would have done me in as you well know

Great RR and photos Yardstick, as usuall.

I hope the elbow didn't take to much damage either..........

I love to see a ride that pushes you to the level of super tired! It lets you know
what you're made of. When you're stoked to see the pavement, as boring as it is, is the the sign of a good ride. Thanks for sharing your ride!

Thanks guys!

Baja Perro, you might like the Rug Road Three Hour Tour Report too.

The arm is definitely going to need some further inspection. It's bad enough that the two week 2-up trip I was planning is going to be a hiking trip.
