Nothing even close to one. My phone has a rubberized edge, so it snugs in and never moves. That said, I do prefer Lonestroms velcro solution, its sturdy and cheap.

I have this one. It hasn't fallen out yet. I put my phone in an Otter case and I suspect the neoprene on the case and the rubber sliders on the gripping arms help, IMO. My only grip is the on/off button on my phone is right under one of the arms. Can be annoying but I'm working on a work around.

That could be the ticket. I have a plstic case over the phone, and it slips easily out the grasp of this mount... Thanks....

Question on maps. Is it possible to download the maps from Osmand app and put them into dualsport? Osmand has a nice downloader within the app for each state. It would be worth buying each app for this.

I have the same downloader. You can just use my app if you want.

Sounds good, didn't know that. I'll be getting your app tonight to try it with my Droid X2 and VStrom 650.

Found another program that may be helpful to plan some routes either on or off road and transfer them to

dual sport maps. Ride with gps .com.

Check out my website dualsportmaps.com . It has great planning tools and an extensive database of tracks and map overlays.

Don't know much about this new technology, but could be an option to waterproof an existing phone that you want to use dualsportmaps on. Plan on getting my Motorola Photon waterproofed by Liquipel.
