Good to hear you're OK! Didn't let the rain defeat you! Nice pics, even through the rain.

I always hurt most the day after. Hope you're not too sore today!

today the guys did decided to have a "shop and/or doohickey day" - do I really want/need to stick around????

Luckily Ross was up to do a few miles and off we went:

unfortunately, out of nowhere, I decided to add Jack Creek to our planed route.... I got turned around and did a few wrong turns. I am so sorry Ross!!!! I fucked up...

ending up in Green Mountain (not where I wanted to go)

my bike got a bit "crusty" on the way (we didn't even hit any dirt by then )

after waiting for the train to pass, I turned wrong again....

so we decide to go back to Burnsville and keep on going on 197

I know, this is prob not something you would even look twice, but if you know Burnsville you'd be surprised too . We are moving into the 21st century!!!

the "African Queen"

it started to drizzle, and Ross asked if I want to go back to the house, thinking it's just a drizzle I said:"lets just take the fun road home" .

The second (or third?) mistake of the day: it rained a lot and 197 was "slick as ass" (not sure if it's proper term, but it fits )

I think Ross had enough at this point (who can blame him?) and we split...

Carter-Swain-House (can be yours for $297k - with 8 acres)

and the little shop down the road from us:

when I got home, they just finished up working on the bikes. But the evening went on ... (right now, I have 3 men "napping" in the house)

slackers

Good Ridin'

Hey Cuttle, Thanks for the guided tour, you are quite the guide. Riding some of your roads was not just fun but also helped me add to my ride list.
Thanks again, Russ

Three times a charm:

1st ride of the year: lots of rain and crash
2nd ride: lots of rain (and could not stick to the route
3rd ride: one out of two is not bad (just kidding - or not)

started out a bit "sticky" - the rear break was stuck, maybe I should have moved some "visiting" bikes around and park indoors.... at least it was under cover

no problem, quick fix: lots of lube on the break

j/k - that was for the chain, I just pryed the break open

tried to leave, pulled out the gloves and they are socked ... hmm, found the reason: bottle exploded during the night freeze:

well, F it, who needs lined gloves in January? It's almost 50F, summer gloves will do
