I'm thinking the tour to T.O. and back might be difficult. I'm sure the axle should be at least 2500lbs.... Ted are you going to have a cap?

That trailer looks to me like it would do for 1 bike or 2, but it would be stretching it a bit to use it for 3. Like our Northtrail bike carrier which has 3 rails on it - you really can't use all three rails at once as far as I can tell. There's no room in the middle if the outside rails are occupied.

Now if you're carrying 125cc Hondas all bets are off.

Not saying it's impossible but it would be really tight. I wouldn't do it, myself.

In our situation, I can't see fitting our two DR650s facing forward, and our son's G450X facing backwards.

I went out to take some measurment...
6 feet wide (frame, between the wheels)
We shoul try before it's too late, but I'm pretty sure two LC8 and a KLR or 2 KLR and one LC8 would fit

My trailer is fine for 3 mx bikes, because the center rail is further forward than the side rails.
Here's a pic with the street bike's at deals gap. Definitley could not fit 3 BIG bikes

If were really stuck, I have this one we could use too.

man I love Tennessee

Are there three bikes on that trailer in the picture? My trailer also has the middle rail forward of the other two but I still don't think it'll work for three. But I'd be happy to see in a picture, if I am wrong.

no, I was saying it wont handle 3 "big" bikes. 3 "dirt" bikes, yes.

Two questions:
  1. Is a LC8 a dirt bike?
  2. Is a KLR a dirt bike?

in my book, those are BIG dirt bikes. I should clarify, my trailer would handle 3 450cc mx bikes properly, but only two LC8's (so the big bike stays home for this one)
