I never did get back to you guys on this thread about the spare parts manuals. I did end up getting electronic copies of these through the dealership where I purchased the bike. They are in a PDF format. I would be happy to pass them around to anyone who would like a copy. They are the 2011 version of the documents same year as my 990 SMR.

Just got this sucker installed.If you're a fan of extra torque and top end power this is the boy for you.Another extra will be constantly cracking the throttle open just to get a blast of that induction roar!!!

Hi, total newbie here. I have a 950SM alongside a 2009 R1 at the moment. I'm considering moving to a 990SMR in the summer. The main worry i have is the suspension. I like the supple suspension on the 950 as the bike is used on mountain lanes and proper broken up bumpy back roads. The R1 has full Ohlins so cripples me nicely on our roads while being perfect for track.
Has anybody ridden the 950SM and 990SMR? If so how much stiffer is it? Will it compromise handling on bumpy stuff?

Damn its hot though and I want it

Nice... Went to the NY motorcycle show and KTM was there saw the new 690 duke was cool looking and also saw the new SMT love the new colors on it.....am thinking of going back to the orange and have the touring amenities of the smt....
