I told y'all there'd be pics of the RawHyde clinic today...
About a dozen riders showed up, most on GS's--no surprise there. One guy rode his Strom all the way from Auburn, plus we had 1 KTM, 1 Triumph Tiger and 4 KLRs. ![]() A clean GS is a dirty shame ![]() I liked this sticker, even tho I hate stickers. ![]() SF Mike said he was gonna push for the 7th SFG to acquire GS's now ![]() ![]() You can't teach those KLR guys nothin ![]() This R11GS only had 30K on the clock--I couldn't believe it! The feller said, Well ya know, I've only had it for six years I might buy this bike someday, as this guy is thinkin about a 12GS at some point in the future...![]() This Tiger rider be needin some more aggressive rubber! ![]() Strom guy did the Stromtroopers proud; he's an ADVer, but I've already forgotten his handle ![]() We practiced turns, and even the instructors were impressed at bzrider's skillz ![]() Way to represent, KLR rider...now let the instructor show ya how to pick it up ![]() In fact, let's all practice picking bikes up. What better bike to practice on than a 12GS Adventure? It actually ain't hard if ya do it right...like a lotta other things in life ![]() A good time had by all ![]() ![]() Many thanks to BMW Motorcycles of Pensacola and RawHyde Adventures for this shindig! I learned a thing or two about making tight turns, picking up 500# beasts when they fall over, and how maneuverable those 500# beasts really are

Glad you guys had fun. I was ready to come down and had to make a last minute trip to Prattville before sunrise to pick up some catalogs for my wife's company. Didn't get back until late in the morning.
Looks like a large time was had by all.......

Congrats to Karen
Let us know how you like it compared to the 225. And be very CAREFUL out there.

In my experience they drag a bit, hard to find neutral. I took a couple thousandths off the back of the basket, smoothed up the fingers and my bike was fine until last weekend, I'm about due for an oil change though. |

Had a great time at the clinic with you guys! I definitely want to get up and ride when I'm down in the area. I'll keep an eye on the forum. (I'm the guy with the Vstrom)
Strom guy did the Stromtroopers proud; he's an ADVer, but I've already forgotten his handle
