I had $1700 in mine counting paint (plum crazy) and drove it to work every day (26 miles one way- Hudson to Brooksville) Helps to be the head machinist at Ken's Speed and Machine You start to build a car and parts are thrown at you.

360 offset ground crank, square decked etc, #915 heads (had three sets of heads), custom solid roller cam, BG carb, 904 with a 3800 converter, 8 3/4 with 4.88s and a spool, through the muffs, M&H's on widened factory wheels and dog dish hub caps. I need to scan some pics.

I didn't make a full pass on NO2, but mid 10's would have been doable.

We got back to the states and we got a Vega GT 4 speed wagon (1st Learners Permit car) and a Plymouth Valiant 4 door 225 slant six sedan (2nd Learners Permit car). That poor old Valient with it's torqflight 904 never stood a chance. The braking ability was always fuddled by the early right rear lock up. Plastic bits were worse than Ford OR GM.

I ran into Courtney and Melvin at West Marine yesterday and invited them to come too.

Right now the forecast is for scattered showers 30%. If the chance of rain increases to 60% or above, we may reschedule. I will post Satuday night by 10 pm if this happens.

Sounds like an 1/8 mile monster! daburn hadda black fiddy-5 post with a 327 & a 4:88 diff. we ran it at "run what ya brung" nite up in atmore. ran open headers all the way back to p-cola that nite. felt like i was in a scene outta american graffitti... them local african american fellers had some junkyard dogs that would just FLY.

imo - thats one of the things thats cool about bracket racing...
