Well old guys its fathers day weekend. Anyone riding?

The Ktoom is still down and dont expect it to be up before the weekend. Just cant get it up as fast as I use to.

I would venture out on the Vstrom but its too damn hot. Even riding its like turning a hair dryer (on full heat) into your face.

Dawn or sunset patrol may be the only answer.

Oh hell yes I'm most definitely IN. I'm an Official Old-Timer, after all, certified by Vic himself. And like Pete, I'm a Registered Independent too. Strong leanings toward the libertarian end of the spectrum though.

I gots me some parts comin in for the DR. Hopefully before Friday. If they do get here I'll be installing them either day this weekend - still have the TA that can bring my old fat ass anywhere tho. I'm likin Blackwater at oh-butcrack thirty. Maybe even jump in to cool off and then air dry on the way back. Something not as lengthy as our last beast ride though...Maybe DRscoopster can lead the way! Anyone in for a POGs Blackwater slowburn?

Havin' a blast up here, Pete. Rode the Colonial Pkwy this AM, stopped at the Yorktown Victory Monument and made this pic. Viva la libertad, ya know.

And yessir that old KLR is humming right along, I'm gettin 60MPG riding the backroads, that's a benefit of running 4K RPM. The other benefit is that she doesn't use any oil at all when I run at or below 4K. And that's saying something for a KLR.
