Impressive MIL stuff, Pete.

Don't hate me, but i submit that lack of a BA/BS (or even an MA/MS) is going to hurt you.

The fact that your experience trumps a Bachelor's degree sadly won't always win the day

Hang in there, mang.

Yup - agreed. However, it's better than no degree at all! :-) Oh and man - how could anyone put the hates on the Mugster? S'matter of fact - I landed my last gig because of it, and the others didn't have a degree. Lot's of tech types never get their 4 year degrees because of their skills.

I'm hangin' baby! I was mostly just checking to see if the keep and share web site was what it was proported to be. I'm gonna nuke that post pretty soon.

I pointed to two old drunks sitting across the bar from us and told my friend

"That's us in 10 years".

He said "That's a mirror, dip-shit!

Just RX'd a VERY interesting phone call from my old COTAR at Hurlburt Field. Looks as though my (SOCOM rather than AFSOC) identical twin (job wise) has put in her two-week notice in order to take a new position elsewhere within my old haunts. Her seat is here on Hurlburt Field, and it's owned by my old (and well-loved) company - Booz Allen Hamilton.

This is a glass slipper that I KNOW would fit my foot!

Keep your fingers crossed fellas!

Pete, there's got to be a job for you someplace on Eglin.
With the credentials you have along with your positive attitude and sense of humor tempered with a strong work ethic ,,,,, they'd be crazy not to snap your ass up.

You are the total package, so go into that interview and sell yourself as such!

Awesome, Pete! I'm pullin' for ya, and I'm with Madhouse—you are what they need, so make sure they see it the same way.

Anyone out in BW today? Thinking of heading out this afternoon for a while. I've been out in the CA desert all week (alas, for work and not for play) and was missing the TREES!

Plenty of sand, though...

BW map source?

Gotta few me-dews I gotta run today, Ian. There's a small chance I may make a ride somewhere tomorrow, but not sure yet.

Do you have a map of the BW roads? I used to have one. I believe I got it for free via web-site request somewhere on the web. It was a long time back. Any of you POGs know where a guy can get a map of all those numbered BW roads somewhere/somehow?

I don't have a map. I know a good handful of the BW roads and most of the main roads that run through it, so I just wander around until I see something familiar.

I think you can get a map at the Munson ranger station for $7. I've also heard that you can get them at Halls hardware store in Milton.

Yup - now that you mention it - that was where I heard you could get them (the ranger station) but I haven't heard about halls hardware. Thanks!
