Have you thought about how long ago 1985 was? In 1985 I had all my hair and thought $7.00 per hour was pretty good money.

Ask a teenager if they think 1985 is old.

Although it was 1986, remember when the Challenger blew up?
I was born that day. I'm a 26-year old engineer now. Feel old now?

85 is old you old dudes! I'm tired of vintage rides being stuck in 1975 for 10 years! The ride stays 75 even though the years march on.. And at this point 95 is old, and 85 is vintage.

I was in 6th grade the year my dual sport was made, and 8th grade in 1985. The bike (XL600) has aged pretty well, and is still running strong.
Remember when Van Halen came out with "1984"? That was when the average junior high school student knew how to read Roman numerals. OK be honest: how many of you youngin's are looking up "Roman numerals" on your I-Phone 5's?

Compuserve and USENET. One of the reasons that I always get a kick out of it when teenagers starts slinging insults on the forums. There were some grad students on USENET in the 80s that would have had most of them crying in their closet after exchanging a few posts. Like the saying goes: "Want a new idea? Read an old book."
