TOWING a second bike.

Someone asked me to post pictures of my tow rig. I will post what I have, hopefully along with some video.

Bikes are loaded and ready to go to a rally. The black box on top of the side case contains my 100 cup coffee maker. I'm the coffee guy!
Make sure you install a hitch lock so this doesn't happen to you!

Where did you get the hitch, how does it pull, and how much does the towed bike weigh? I am getting a trailer from 3D Manufacturing here in Wisconsin and have been looking at the hitches from DMC, but would love to be able to pull my S1000rr with me when I go out west...

I built the hitch myself and also did my own wiring. What do you plan to tow the bike behind?

Looks great

I've been thinking of something similar myself that I could use to haul my kayak and gear behind my Transalp out to the river and then throw the Transalp on it to tow behind a vehicle for shuttle. I have the channel and other parts, but not the axle and wheels. Do you have a source for the axle & wheels you can share? Also, how does it do without suspension? Do the tires handle it well enough?

Thanks
