Wash

Not sure if its what is called high pressure but there is a DIY car wash at the COPEC corner of Manuel Mont 1118 corner of Alferez real. They at least have a hand held wand.

Though I havent seen this one, supposedly they have the same at San Pablo 2602 in Santiago Centro.

Question No Place to Stay in Chile?

Ok, dumb.... I'm with a small group travelling to Pucon Chile for the 50th anniversary (Yes! 50 years ago) of a ride two of our riders did in 1962. The problem is that we've found ourselves heading towards Santiago on Good Friday! Yikes, it's a big holiday here and all the hotels are full. Any recommendations of a place to stay near Santiago? We are coming over the pass from Mendosa. Any help would be appreciated. donn@ADVdonnh.com our reply here. I'll be online tonight and tomorrow morning.....

Hi Donnh,

I have a camper (for 3-4) and place for about 1000 tents in my place plus water, bathroom, food and nice conversation. Normally I could offer you "the little house" but this weekend is being used by my son and his family.

We are in Lo Miranda, a little town about 10 km west from Rancagua and about 100 km south from Santiago.

Our coordinates in Google earth:
34.20072386784062 W
70.89843773671704 S

Please confirm today.

Mi phone +56 72 466162

Regards,

Rafael

Wicked Wanted: Adv bike rental in Satiago for this Sat.

Hola,
I arrived in Santiago today to work for 6 days. I just found out I will have time off over the weekend and was wondering if there is any place I can rent an ADV bike for Saturday. I would also be interested in anyone wanting/willing to be a guide for the day. I apologize for the short notice, I thought I would be working all weekend. Since it is still winter back home in the US, I would love to get out and go for a ride.

Todd-Squad

PS Have any of the new KTM 1190 Adventures arrived in Chile yet? I would love to see one up close and personal. We do not expect them in the States until at least October.

Pura vida,

Enrique

Saludos amigos Jaimoto y Quikegeo. Marc
