Still working on the DRZ and have a hunger that need's feeding! When/where is the next M&G?

I'm back and running after another physical set back... 3 IED's took its toll on my head and neck... so now with a new cervical spine ( see pic ) I will be a riding machine,,,

Is anyone going to be free and in the Richland Co. area this coming Saturday? I'm linking up with a buddy i first met in Iraq, and we are heading out to Richland Center / Soldiers Grove area, then looping up to Adams area and then back to the Oshkosh area.

Let me know if anyone wants to link up for a section of the ride.

Thanks.... i asked my Dr. when I would be cleared to ride, and he said sometime in August.... he never specified which August... so im taking it as last August... So I figured a 450 mile round trip would be good therapy

well I put on about 200 miles in the last 3 days and its a little sore but it will get better before the weekend.... i'll pack some instant ice packs..

Damn! That's a nice scar KILO-51.

My brother-in-law broke his neck in a car accident and his scar is no where near that size. He can play basketball and what not but his neck wont turn to the sides much anymore. His was fixed around 16 years ago though so maybe surgeons are better now. Or maybe they are better in war zones.

Well I can turn left and right... look down... but up is another thing.... I have only the 2 top vertebra to work with.. the other 5 are all titanium rods.... but therapy will help quite a bit.. riding will help with the mental part...lol..

I'm glad you are still movin around. I had to kick my brother-in-law in the butt to get him moving again after his neck issues. After meeting his future wife he ended up getting into biking and Iron Man competitions. I doubt he moved from his couch or computer before his problems but now he is still pretty athletic.

I ride for sanity (or was that insanity?). It's a great escape.

Welcome back, Kilo! I was wondering why you disappeared after the Heather's m&g. I think you were on the list for the next one, but we never heard from you again.

Short notice, but tomorrow's weather looks decent. Anyone interested in meeting up at the Great Dane East for a little while?
