Probably be a fight.

Btw, all new remotes should come with a Pierre McGuire mute button.

The Rangers/Sens game is very testy. The refs are doing a good job but I can see this one getting ugly as well.

What I can't see is the Ranger team of the regular season when they were just dominant. Of all the teams, I really though they would blitzkrieg their way through the first round.

Playoff hockey, anything can happen. Gotta love it.

Yep. Coaches are very good about managing matchups, and depth really shows thru - Brian Boyle? Really? Bryan Bickell leads the Blackhawks with 2 goals? Really?

That's the cool part to me. You get a third line guy in a favorable matchup and they come thru.

Bruins and Caps getting chippy. Been a great match up to this point.
Hope it doesn't turn into a Pens-Flyers gladitorial exhibition.
Who in their right mind picks a fight with Lucic?

The hell if I know. Lucic had that crazy look in his eye while in the box. I haven't seen that look since they played Vancouver mid season. He is going to destroy someone. That and OV is a marked man for that run on Peverly at the end of the game.

It is always nice to see a team take after their coach. It is a shame with all that talent the Caps are turning into little Dale Hunters.

I am all for fighting and physical chippy style of play, but the kind of play Hunter did is a black mark on NHL history.

The Bruins have been here before, and stayed patient through the BS the Caps were pulling. Holtby is 22 and is getting shelled. Tomorrow nights game will be a good one, and I see Lucic pummeling someone!

I think you might have nailed it.

He's another one of those Euros who wear the biggest suit of armour pads, won't fight, and are cheap shot behind the play experts.

And Cam Neely was a fine, fine player.

I still think Bertuzzi is a criminal. Now the Red Wings have him as their (aged) tough guy.

Announcers on WGN Chicago are asking: WTF referees? Lots of stuff going uncalled. Scorekeeping crew doesn't have a clue.

Three goals in a minute and a half in the third period!

Overtime again!

Excited for the Predators! They played a great game tonight.

These Chi/Phx games are just nuts.

I just started a flame war on the Washington Post website over Backstrom suspension. A bunch of angry drunk caps fans.

I tried to convince my wife to let me name our son Cam Neely. She said no

Best god damn power forward to ever play the game. To think Vancouver traded him and a 1st round 3rd overall pick for Barry Pederson The should have just asked the Bruins for a pack of skittles. Pederson was worth about that at the time. Any player who has had 2 surgeries in an off season is bad news. Second worse trade in NHL history. Only to be topped by the Lindros cluster fuck.

Hey, you're talking about my team there. And the Legion of Doom.

What, we only gave away 11 million dollars and half a team. Not a bad exchange for all those cups he won.

1997 is one of the reasons I can stand the Red Wings to this day. And not long after, Scott Stevens tried to decapitate poor Eric at the blue line.

I can't believe the Red Wings game last night. Nashville looked like they were hanging on there in the first, and at the end, they just outlasted 'em.

That was a strange one between the Wings and Preds last night. Detroit takes it to them for about 45 minutes, and the Preds sit back, then BOOM- 7 measly shots in the third, and 4 of them go in. (That first goal was a goal in my book. Another wonderful "intent to blow" call by the refs.) It's amazing what a difference goaltending can make on any given night.
