When I worked in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta for a year, I heard 'The Hip' so many times I thought I might drive my truck into a tree.

But there are no trees there. Just miles and miles of scrub. And oil refineries. I 'got' the song about the hockey player. But jeexus...

I am interested to see if Rinne is as good as I thought he was or if the Coyotes come out and rock the Preds. This will be a fun one.

I intentionally left Neil Young out because he rocks.
Neil Young is the rockinest Canoodian to ever come from wherever Canadia is.

I'm going with the Preds.
They're the closest team to me since the Thrashers left for Moosejaw or somewhere in Manitoba.

Man, a bank shot off of Rinne's shoulder. Tough break for the Preds.

I like the way the Coyotes are playing... this could be better than I thought!

Dayum, another crazy bank shot. This time off the boards to the front of the net.

Now that was a chincy goal for the Preds. Shows you how dangerous they are.

Almost another one for the Coyotes.. almost.

Boedker just skated down, held, held and fired, cleaning beating Rinne from 8 feet out.

I'm reminded again how effed up it is that the home team wears colors and the road team wears white.

Preds just tied it up 3-3 on a powerplay goal with couple of minutes to go in the third.
Eggcellent match. Looks to be a great series.

One last rush by the Coyotes and a dangerous shot on goal. Going to OT.

Thanks...

I am going with the Kings to win now. Kings vs. Rangers for the Lords hardware.

PHOENIX scores, game one to the Coyotes....

And Nashville just owned the OT, the bulk of the period was played down the Coyotes' end.

"we will rock you" and "we are the champions" should be saved for gay parades. Great game, otherwise.
