A first class, well priced product that does what it should.
I especially like the self calibration function, and had to train myself not to look at the bike's tach.
Thanks Grok!
Thanks for the feedback.
Glad you like it!

Great product - Got mine this week. Velcro'd the back of it to my RID and took off after zeroing it. Rode at all rpm's to 6K . Made some little tweeks and vola - Spot frickin on. It is almost toooo easy.
One question tho. When would I use the gauge mode? What does it tell me?

Thanks again for a great product.

Had my bike..1150gsa... serviced by the local BMW dealer today. Whilst there we put the Harmonizer up against the BMW equipment. The measurements were identical. All the technicians are now considering purchasing the Harmonizer as they have the share the BMW equipment. Have tried it myself and would be hard pressed to find anything easier to use. Great product Grok

Hello sir,
The gauge mode is simply a heavily damped vacuum gauge with a readout in inches of mercury. While in gauge mode, the tachometer function is scaled differently depending on whether you use the yellow or red port.

The vacuum gauge function is useful for tuning mixture on carburetors (see post #235 for an example). In this regard it will work for singles or multiple carburetors. It is also potentially useful for some limited diagnostics, like checking for vacuum leaks.

The higher the vacuum reading, the more efficiently the carburetor is functioning for a given RPM.

Thanks for the report!

The Harmonizer is being used in BMW shops here locally. I expect it could become more widespread. The BMW equipment isn't very portable. The techs I've spoken with especially like the built-in tach function and the portability. It helps them get their jobs done faster and with less hassle!

Can I still buy this at reduced price?

If so, how much including shipping to UK?

Cheers,

Cheers,
Yep, I'm keeping the introductory price for a few more weeks.
Check out the first post in this thread - international shipping is $15.
Thanks for the inquiry!

Another success story. I just passed 6,000 miles so I figured it was time for a balance. I used it in conjunction with the gs911 tool and followed the instructions to the tee for both stepper motor calibration and throttle body balance. It was indeed off by a good bit so I dialed it into center and went for a ride. Smooooooooth as butter. I had not realized anything was wrong before but wow what a difference being in perfect balance makes. Thanks for the tool.

First shipment to Malaysia ?

Dear Mr Grok,

I've just placed an order to you last night, one unit of this harmonizer vacuum Multi-Tool. I'm the guy from Putrajaya, Malaysia and really looking forward to trying it out on my V-Twin, Suzuki SV1000S coz I've just got a strong vibration at 6K RPM. Badly need to do throttle synchronization & TPS adjustment right now at 17500km !!!

Just for your information, I made the order through the PayPal button on the first page of this thread, and got a PayPal receipt, etc. to "Far Horizons". Any idea when the item will be shipping out? I guess, I'm the first one to order to you from Malaysia !!!

Thanks
Zylan

4 cyl harmonizer availability date?

In an earlier post it was mentioned that a 4 cylinder harmonizer was in the works for the Christmas season. Is that still a possibility? If so, about when will it be available?
