Is riding a GL1800 an adventure?
Yes and it's good now that I do not have to leave the ADVriders site.......for the GL1800riders Forum.

I bought Big Red about 6 months ago. I took it on a Forest Service road by accident but I was surprised how good it did. It was hard pack with bumps.

Stole these from the other thread. This is my 1990. I have a '97 that needs a little work. May be done this fall or over the winter. Love the Wings!

![]() I was riding my GS Adventure, TKC's and all. By the time we met in Eagle Plains, I figured that over the entire distance and excluding my stopped for bears time, that I maybe only gained 40 minutes on him. ![]() I guess that the point may be, ride what you have. It's not always the machine. Cheers, 40-Mile

Its a real beauty! Got to love that Vetter Windjammer fairing. Back in the day it was the best way to. Are the bags and top box Vetter too?

I love my Wing so much..
Oh ya, I almost forgot. I went to the Red Bud national motocross race this year and when I arrived at the track the whole parking lot was mud and wet grass and my wing just chugged on through it all without so much as a slip.
