Yes it does resemble the cliffs in that area.

Guess number 2

Looking at the cliffs, looks like it could be some of the basalt flows on the Flat Top. So Flat Tops Road, between NEw Castle and Buford. Fo some reason thsi one looks real familiar, but I cannot put my finger on it. Must be Friday and the sun is shining and the bike is ready to go for an after work ride!

Boy, me too, but if you look down the valley it is not right. Could be the Rio running down there which would make it a trail up and east of Creede.
