the wait....

Seems like all I do is apologize...

My apologies for anyone having to wait 11 weeks, I'm doing all I can to take care of the back-log. I'll be ending the group buy shortly as it seems to be hurting the "customer service" aspect of my little business.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone been offended by our auto-response?

I appreciate the honest answers. I placed an order tonight, one small businessman supporting another.

Running a small business can be a thankless task but most people here will cut you a lot of slack if you are open and honest. (Having a superior product goes a long way, too).

I'm on week 7 and I still have my patience. It helps to see people ahead of me are receiving them so I know it's just a matter of time.

Just received my stuff today first impression is.....
-Love the little storage bag that comes with the juggernaut im Canadian and i have to store mine half a year having a bag that fits the armor so it will hang in a closet standing up and not in a big ball, is a plus.
-Was shipped via USPS being Canadian any other shipping company means im paying Tax on the item plus 40 bucks brokerage fee.

Ive played Roller hockey and Ice hockey my whole life as a defense man who is short and loves to block shots, so my gear has been through its paces. To be honest when i began motorcycle riding i was kinda shocked at how piss poor the gear was. It was easy to tell products were either too weak to protect you, or they would simply slip away from the intended area. I do not get that impression at all from Velocity Gear to me it seems the product is exactly as marketed, its made by riders for riders. Thats honestly all that should be needed to be said, buy their products you should be happy.

The sizing was spot on, for both the gloves and the juggernaut and both I will trust protecting me. At the price point of velocity gear's products i have yet to see anything that can compete with them. Im really tempted to order a second pair of gloves I doubt ill find better anywhere near the price by the time mine wear out.

Dood! Don't beat yourself up too badly! I can only guess that the inmates here swamped you with orders. You said upfront that the lead time was 6-8 weeks. At the deal you offered, I would still have been happy if delivery was 12 weeks. At nine weeks....meh...BFD! I thank you for the great product at a great price! I will recommend your Juggernaut armor to anybody! It's still a great deal at your regular price!

info

Hello,

My apologies, this endeavor doesn't support a "full-time" position, so some communications are hit and miss. Again, my apologies to anyone that is offended.

Samuel, you should see your order this coming week via the USPS.

I have about 6-10 orders that should have shipped last week but didn't due to a "fitting" issue. Xl/2XL's and above are the sizes being affected.

I'll be shipping them on Monday as I'm still going through them.

I haven't been able to contact anyone on the 6-10 list. I've got 15pm's though, so I'll try to catch up now...

I ordered mine on October 5th so I am pretty far down the list.

The auto response didn't bother me at all. I think where my initial confusion set in was that I didn't receive any type of e-mail from Velocity when I ordered except from Pay Pal. Typically, I receive an e-mail from Pay Pal and then a follow up confirmation from the company I have ordered from. When I didn't receive that follow up e-mail, I began to wonder if the order had been processed and became impatient until I received confirmation from you.

Now, I am still impatient but not with Velocity, I'm just impatient because I WANT MY GEAR!!!

order mine second week of September. Received mine now. Looks great. I tried it on -- fits fine as well -- feels quality and thought through out. Taking it for a 3 day ride next week. Very happy that I got it before the trip.
