Says free shipping and I think you have to use paypal. I'm sure you'll get an answer to any sizing question from the vendor.
Thanks JTucker. That is what I needed. I measured my "chest"...err... umm had my secretary help me with it. 38.5" & the quote. My goodness you'd wear a big bra. I wear a 42 suit size because my shoulders and arms are wide/long. No popeye forearms for me so based on the sizing posted:

So @ 5'10", 180 lbs, 38.5" chest = 6 plate Med/Large.

Was thinking about waiting until I get paid again but if they are going to ship before the 15th I'll get mine in now. What's the skinny on the delivery time?

[QUOTE=velocitygear;16529124]Hello everyone,

Anyone reading this thread should know that our lack of communication is due to Velocity_Girl's recent hand surgery. I would have updated sooner but there's just too much going on.

"The two small Velcro tabs that are supposed to hold it together don't get it done."

[COLOR=#ff8c00]WILDWOODMOCruiser- long or wider velcro tabs? the grey tops have been an issue and only fit "medium" sizes. Apparently, getting the "exact" same material in grey isn't as easy as manufacturing had implied. If we can't get grey, what do we need to do to "make it right?"

Hope Velocity Girl is getting better.. Glad to hear you guys are still a going concern.. Being too busy is a good thing in this day and age!

It looks like the grey won't be available in tall sizes. That's too bad, if it's a no go, it's a no go.
How to fix the one I have?? The best fix would be if it had two or three inches more material below the chest plate. I think it would be a major rework though to make the zipper longer, etc. I ordered the longest rear protector, and it fits great.
Possibly some thicker and much longer front tabs to hold the top and belt together?
That may be the only fix. What do you think?

Also, I would suggest washing it before you wear it on a hot day.. I was sweating my backside off, and it turned my shirts I was wearing under it black..

Not a big deal.. Like I said in my first post, I had a pretty good "get off" and it really did the job.

Thanks,
Jeff

Hello all...

We're currently at 34, the first 50 are on their way...

WildwoodMOCruiser; how tall are you again?

Grey isn't currently available in the same material that we insist on. If it's not the identical material, it creates sizing issues for roughly 30% of our customers.

I'm a little over 6'5". I really didn't want to post this.. (It's right after I dropped my bike.) I'm a little muddy..
Plus, it looks like I forgot to suck in my gut.. Not a real great pic. It does show how big the gap is between the bottom of the chest protector and the top of the belt..

What happens if you relocate the kidney belt so it sits perpindicular to your body and within reach of the chest straps? It looks as if you're pulling the kidney belt down in the front to fasten it. You may need it there so it doesn't ride up but if not or if you haven't tried it:

Before fastening the kidney belt, grab both belts as close to the back protector as you can and gently pull down...while pulling down fasten the kidney belt perpindicular to your body.. then attach the chest straps to the kidney belt.
