You guys who are interested in getting these tires stateside need to let Neil Rayson of Mitas USA know about it.
Go here and send him a short message about your desire for MITAS motorcycle tires:

I sent him a message last night about getting the E07 and E10 here, and received a response today.

Rear e07 update

I had the chance to try it out in some mud the other day.
I was impressed. Even with a TKC on the back powering out of a mud hole usually resulted in the back getting squirrely. The E07 seemed to hook right up and just pull me out no sliding around.

That is a great looking tire. Can't wait for some mileage reports. Right now it's topping my list as the next one that goes on the bike.

Great looking tire indeed. Sure wish there was a 18 x 150 in that tire, but I guess not yet.

I've emailed Joel Rayson at Mitas about it.

Thanks for the Canada MX1 link and Joel has already responded to me once already asking for more explanations for how we use these tires. I sent him a bunch more info on how we dual-sport these things in all conditions on all types of terrain.

Did you send Neil Rayson a message using the link I provided? I got a quick response which said, "We will be reviewing our offering early in 2012". I first emailed him a few years ago about bringing the MITAS E09 tire here. He asked what sizes, and within a few months those tires arrived. I don't know about you, but I have no desire to pay $35 shipping PER TIRE from MX1 Canada.

FWIW

I recently paid $35 shipping for one tire, any additional tires ordered at the same time was less according to the http://www.mx1canada.com/ website.

a few months? I typically don't want to wait that long.

Sounds like we might have a US solution in the next year?

I think for me it's a matter of principle. I'm a "shop local" person when I can be...even though one distributor in the entire country isn't really "local", I'd rather support them than a distributor in another country if I can. For the moment I'm waiting to buy until we can get them in country but when they do come to the U.S. I'll probably pick up a couple to start with.

Me either, so I'll hold off on ordering any Mitas 150 x 18 until MX1 hopefully starts carrying them in MX1 USA.
