Same question but will Mitas ever have ANY of their dual-sport rear tires in 150/80-18 ? I think I'm about to give up on Mitas and get something else.

No 70 vs 80 is not a problem. It's the 150 width and the 18" rear size needed by all OEM KTM950/990 bike rims, that Mitas does not have yet, again that I have been able to find. The 140 are too narrow and install with the sidewalls too vertical. Also if you run tubeless as I do, the 140 is extremely difficult to try and get bead seal on the wide KTM OEM rear rim. Have to resort to wratcheting straps (dangerous) to try and get the middle of the tire pulled in enough to get the tire beads far enough out to contact the rim bead area and get seal with air pressure and seat properly.

comparing with the 140/80-18 produced as

Who carries these in North America? I didn't see that 150/70-18 size at http://www.mx1canada.com when I looked there today.

I've run the 140/80/17 on my GSA with no trouble. It's been a lot of fun, actually.

No one in the US...got them from MX1 in Canada & they have taken forever to arrive. I should have them Wed. & I ordered / payed Jan 20. Shipping to Fl was $$$ & MX 1 had them sent across the Border before they shipped to FL to save $.
The Cracking issues appear to be resolved, we'll see.

I'll post a pic up soon of my rear, but I'm thinking of replacing my E09 Dakar's now after about 4,000 miles. I put them on at 9,000 and I'm at about 12,800 right now. There's a few mm left on the back but not much (pic later). I expected 6,000 miles off the rear but I am a rather heavy 235lbs and really rode these tires hard (LAB2V).

I love the TKC-80 too but I think I'm valuing the off road durability, traction and lower price of the E09's more than the on-road manners and grip of the TKC-80.

When I say durability, I'm referring to the extra strip they put in for protection. My first TKC 80 I plugged twice; my second three times (all times in rear tire). I have not had to plug this E09 at all. Could just be chance, I dunno.
