wait a minute.
that looks like your entire line including off-road & motocross tires. how is that possible and are we using the same terms? you say DOT 'proved' ... are you saying DOT approved? in the US DOT (department of transportation http://www.dot.gov/ ) approval on a tire means it is street legal. one requirement is the tire needs to go down a paved road for 1000mi and not loose a knobby. there is NO way your offroad/motocross tires have a DOT approval. no mfg. tires in that category do. could you please clarify this with Mitas before you create any more confusion here! please focus on the E-07/09/10 only as those 3 are the focus of this whole thread. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=mitas+dot+c-20 The USA DOT is pretty much the same as the European ECE-75 regulation: road legal use. If a tyre has the E-75R certification and/or the JASO (Japanese) equivalent certification, it will more than likely pass the DOT certification as well. Most enduro tyres ARE road legal, because enduros are run on road legal bikes. Most MX fronts are also road legal, possiby because although designed for MX they happen to pass the certification; however most MX rears are not, presumably because they require unwanted or expensive modifications to meet the road standards and that is not their focus. That applies universally across all brands. I routinely run MX fronts on my 640A because I like the fcukker to have some grip up front!! Basically outside the USofA, all the enduro race bikes are road legal ex-factory: Honda CRF-X, Yamaha WR-F, Kawasaki KLX, KTM EXE (all sizes and strokes ) and accordingly so are their tyres - with DOT certification even if the bikes they're OEM'd on aren't. In fact enduro tyres face additional certification in that they also must be FIM approved.However... you do have to take note of the load/speed ratings on road-legal knobs, V- or W-rated steel radials they are not! Even the almighty TKC80 are only P or Q rated, 150km/h or something.

He introduced himself
.If you had only linked us to MX1Canada to start with... your sales would be growing rapidly. The reputation of your product in Europe peaked my interest originally. $35 shipping is fairly normal for a rear tire (here in the States). S.

I googled cgs tires and this page comes up:
http://www.mitas-tyres.com/continent...9915761bdcef80 Notice the Continental tires... I am guessing Mitas and Continental tires like the TKC 80 are made by the same company? |

All of those tires on that list have been submitted to US DOT for testing, have gotten approval (ie the passed) and have the DOT label on the side of the tire?
Your motorcross tires are able to run 1000 miles on the hiway and not loose a single knobby? That is all correct? I'm no expert in this.
