Way to go to finish the second day Ned! Stay strong and healthy and stick to your guns

All the Best to Jonah, hopefully there's a way for him to stay in it...it's early on, he's got a long way to go and make up the time he's lost if they'll let him go on!

I know he plays it down a lot by saying he just want to finish and yes, that is a realistic goal-but at the same time, Ned is very competitive. And while he's having fun, he's been working his butt off for this. His focus has been so tremendous, if you had a chance to observe him over the last few months like I have, you wouldn't be so surprised.

Ned will move up in places just by riding his normal distance covering pace. Steady and safe, Ned!

Looking at Jonahs thread he appears to have Overheating ignition problems. Fingers crossed he can keep going some how.

yep, that's the way it's done; let attrition take its toll.

Congratulations on a great ride today Ned! Can't wait to hear about the day.
I hope there's some way for Jonah to get back in it.

Nobody wants to jinx it

But of course Ned has tremendous potential for a Dakar. It's a head game for smart, well prepared people. Fits him like a glove.

That's what I've thought, too.
