I know he will change it , it just makes sense I guess but there is always the chance that exchange engine isn't quiet as good .
From the info I have, just basic maintenance to this point. No top end or rebuilds. Motor has been rock solid as of the start today.

He wasn't planning to do a top end. He didn't mention it, so I don't think they've touched it.

Yesterday, I suffered a freak accident (not riding) dislocating my right shoulder and breaking a piece of the cup off. The ER staff were going to cut off my shirts, starting with my Neduro shirt. I said no way. Thanks to the excellent choice of fabric by Hayduke. the shirt stretched to a bearable pain level.

Great post Tim.

Ned just through WP6. Go Ned.

Incredibly valuable post, Tim. This color commentary really adds to the experience of watching the riders on the dunes, not to mention what it's going to do to help my own riding when I can get out to some sand like this on my own. Thank you.

Tim - thank you for the inside view of some of Ned's prep.
Chris - thank you for the inside views of the on ground prep in SA.
PackMule - thank you for the RallyRaidio links to Ned's experience.

All this (and more) have made this truly an amazing armchair experience.

Good thoughts for Ned today. He may be having some issues out there as he's dropped from 44th at start to 90th at WP7

edit: 96th.

Bring it in, Ned!
