ADV Bookshare Thread
I had an epiphany today. yes the other party was wearing a prophylactiic so I'm not pregnant.
I reckon Kindle has that on-line book chit cornered.(i should know, the wifey is charging books on that account like it's going out of style) But... theres still a lot of you FFs that actually have printed books. Wouldn't it be cool if we can have an ADV library? Inmates can share books amongst each other. Trade chit at a gathering. Pay it forward. Whatever the Fuck tickles your fancy. Porn, Cycle riding tips, Manuals, Vampire genre, Zombie rules, Armageddon scare the chit out of you type books, KTM suspension setup manuals , etc... I don't know if this will survive the Flatistan section but it's just a 3 drink type thought came into the noggin. What say you, you bastiges?

I want to write a novel, maybe you can help. Here's the first sentence:
Last Saturday, Green Cove Springs, 2-up on a F650 with hard bags, thought I saw a ADV sticker on the back. |

Inept and I have done much the same thing through the years. I gots a Zombie book or two. Maybe a manual about living in the woods someplace... might be more of a flyer
On a solo camping trip I usually take one to flip through while the strippers change shifts

I don't read much anymore, except for online. I used to enjoy it. Most of what I have is in the form of manuals.
Where do you guys find time to read, with all of the posting you do here?

![]() I've got a chit load of books & magazines I've saved over the years. don't know why All types of crap...(Car Craft, Mopar Performance, 5.0 stuff, wifey's vampire romance novels , cook books, etc...). Mostly shit you pay some fukker to take at a yard sale. ![]() Maybe trade some new found knowledge for chit you'd throw away. Dunno, maybe some of you FFs will treasure somebody else's trash.

great Idea
Why not!
I read a lot and I save most of my books. I have complete works of WEB Griffin, Tom Clancy, Wilbur Smith, David Gemmel, Bernard Cornwell, Jack Whyte, and many others. All are fiction and mostly war or thiriller actions books. Lots of Historical Fantasy and medevil stuff. I just love a good adventure story. No romance or vampires. I would be interested in trading or selling some of these or just loaning them out. I am reluctant to mention this but I have written a novel about motorcycle racing and riding that has not been published but is complete. I have several "proof copies" if anyone would be interested in proof reading. Covers everthing from trial riding to motocross and harescrambles to enduros.......... its a novel and not a how to or this is what I did thing. OK that all I have to say about that.
